Mrs. Dorilla M. "Dot" (LeBlanc) Dombrowski 103, of Salem beloved wife of the late Joseph Dombrowski, died Saturday, June 6th, 2015 at Ledgewood Nursing Home in Beverly.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Philoman and Delphine (Beliveau) LeBlanc. She was raised and educated in New Brunswick, Canada. Immigrated to Lynn at the age of 17. She has resided in Salem for over 65 years.
Mrs. Dombrowski affectionately known as Dot, had been employed as a sloper at the former Webster Industries. Previously she had been employed at the former Danvers State Hospital.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, Dot was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking and playing card and board games. She relished seeing her family grow throughout the many generations she was fortunate to see six generations of her family throughout the course of her long life. Her steadfast love and loyalty to her family will always be remembered.
Dot is survived by her daughters, Norma O'Neill of Peabody, April Maurais and her husband Joseph of Peabody, June Dombrowski of Beverly and Juanita Gorman and her husband Patrick of Beverly, her son, George Melanson and h is wife Anna of Las Vegas, NV, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, her sisters, Lucie Boudreau of Canada and Florence Siebert of Florida, her brother, Alfred Le Blanc of Canada, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family & friends. She was the mother of the late Carol Miller and Richard Melanson, sister of the late Joseph Leo LeBlanc, Eugene LeBlanc and mother-in-law of the late Francis O'Neil.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care shown to their mother by the staff, nurses and aides of the Ledgewood Nursing Center in Beverly.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Thursday, June 11th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Wednesday, June 10th from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dot's memory to the Ledgewood Nursing Center, Activity Fund, 87 Herrick St., Beverly, MA 01915.
