LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Mrs. Doris Joan (Peachey) Barrett, age 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, June 12th, 2023. She was the wife of the late William Barrett.

Doris was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Alviah and Gertrude (Nyman) Peachey. She had been employed with the Las Vegas Police Department for many years as a clerk until the time of her retirement.

Doris is the beloved mother of Mark (Marcy Mikula) Barrett, Thomas Barrett, Joan (Garth) Schulz and the late Phillip Barrett, loving grandmother of Matthew, Adam, and Collin Barrett, Ashley and Gabriel Cielakie, Zachary, Colton, Emyli and Nicole Schulz, dear great grandmother of McKenzie and Declan Cielakie. She is also survived by her brother, Retired Chief of the Middleton Police Department, Robert Peachey of Middleton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gertrude Peaslee, Rita Tinkham, Rosemary L'Abbe, Marion Grace Elms and George, Raymond and Earl Peachey.

ARRANGEMENTS IN MASSACHUSETTS: Her funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS, Wednesday, June 28th at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours prior to the service on Wednesday, June 28th from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon.
