PEABODY-Dorothy E. Fraser, 85, of Peabody formerly of North reading, passed away on June 18, 2026 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Dorothy was born on January 5, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Moretto) Nichinello.
A devoted loving wife to the late Richard Fraser, they were married for 43 years and loved to travel throughout their marriage. Dorothy and Richard “Richie” had a love for dogs and throughout their years together, their constant companions were Shep, Bonnie and Jamie.
Dorothy was a resident of North Reading for 40 years and previous member of the North Reading Garden Club. She was employed by Dynamics Research Corporation/Engility in Andover for 22 years working in administration. She later moved to Brooksby Village, where she resided for the last 12 years. Dorothy enjoyed travelling with her sister Marion Sessa to parts of the United States and Europe.
Surviving Dorothy is her loving sister Marion Sessa, her nieces Mary Jane Cardarelli, and Janice Worcester, nephews William (Bill) Sessa and Anthony (Tony) Sessa, Brian Worcester, Alfred Fraser and Kevin Fraser, along with several great nieces and nephews. Dorothy was also the sister of the late Nancy Worcester.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Dorothy’s funeral Mass to be held at St. Agnes Parish, Boston St., Middleton on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11 A.M. Burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. A visitation will be held prior to Mass at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers from 9 to 10 A.M. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 https://www.stjude.org/give.html .
