DANVERS – Mrs. Dorothy (Long) Sinclair 91, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Charles D. Sinclair, Jr. died peacefully, Sunday, August 22 nd at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Lockhead) Long. She was raised and educated in Danvers and attended the former Holten High School in Danvers.

A lifelong resident of the Town of Danvers, Dot's true calling was being a mother to her five daughters. She took great pride in all of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Family was at the center of who she was and she was a great role model and matriarch. She enjoyed camping at Baxter Lake and square dancing as a member of the Riverside Squares in Danvers. She was also a long-time member of the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church in Danvers. Her devotion to her family was true and with an over abundant love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren she allowed her entire family to create a life time of memories to share forever. She will be deeply missed.
