SALEM- Master Edward Rodriguez 13 years old of Salem died following a long illness at Children's Hospital in Boston with his family at his side. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of Kori J. Rodriguez-Weatherbee and Orlando Rodriguez. He was a lifelong Salem resident and was currently attending the Collins Middle School. He was a beloved student of the Witchcraft Heights Elementary School where his smile and outlook on life endeared him to classmates and teachers and staff alike. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his brother and cousins playing Legos and Nintendo. He enjoyed puzzles and watching movies and shopping. What was most important in Eddie's life was being around his family and friends. He had an unbreakable bond with his mother and he was always at her side throughout his life. He was her special angel while here on earth and is her guardian angel in heaven. His strength to fight through his illness is his endearing mark on life and his devotion to his family will never be forgotten. His life was love and he will be deeply missed but always remembered by his family and friends. Eddie is survived by his beloved mother, Kori J. Rodriguez -Weatherbee of Salem, his brother Marshall Prizio of Salem, his maternal grandfather Norman Weatherbee of Chelmsford, his aunts, Kerri Pereira and her husband John of Chelmsford and Kasey Chotkowski and her husband Jason of Seabrook, N.H., his cousins, Alex and Ava Pereira and Nicholas Martins and many friends. He was the grandson of the late Kathleen Weatherbee.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in Ste. Anne's Church Jefferson Ave, Salem, Wednesday, Feb19th from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon to be followed by his Funeral Mass of the Angels beginning at 12 Noon. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem.
