PEABODY - Elizabeth "Betty" (Morose) Csogi, 78, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Danvers, she was one of ten children of the late Anthony and Geraldine (DeFrancisco) Morose. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Beverly, Class of 1961.

Over the years Betty worked at several businesses, Hotwatt in Danvers, First National Bank in Boston, Essex Superior Court in Salem and for 18 years and Opus Communications/HC-Pro Publishing in Marblehead.

Betty was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Choir. She was a devoted member of South Congregational Church in Peabody. There she served on numerous committees, using her gifts and talents to support the mission of the church. Betty was at her best when she was serving others and helping them on their Spiritual journey.

Devoted to her family and faith, Betty's proudest accomplishment was raising her son, Mark Csogi.  Betty glowed when she spoke of her son, daughter-in-law, Danielle, and precious granddaughters, Madison and Nichole.

Betty enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening and decorating. She was known for her generous giving of homemade foods and selfless giving of her time to those in need. She was always ready to assist at a moments notice when the need arose. She had a fun-loving attitude towards life and was grateful for everything God blessed her with. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Betty is her son, Mark Csogi and his lovely wife, Danielle of Salem, her grandchildren, Madison Csogi and Nichole Csogi both of Salem, her two brothers, Anthony Morose of Beverly and James Morose and his wife, Janet of Danvers; her seven sisters, Joan Morose of Keene, NH, Tina Blanchard of Beverly, Ann T.M. Kiely of Florida, Patricia Carroll and her husband, Bernard of Byfield, Denise Baines and her husband, Tim of Maryland, Joycelyn Minich and her husband, Peter of Lyndonville, VT and Julie O'Hara and her husband, Brian of Rochester, NH, and numerous nieces and nephews and her Godchild and great-niece, Kayla Morose of Danvers.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held in the South Congregational Church, 60 Prospect St., Peabody on Thursday, Sept. 9th at 11A.M. Burial is private. Visiting hours at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Wednesday, Sept. 8th from 4 to 8 P.M.
