DANVERS - Elizabeth "Libby" (Weidemann) Levers, 85, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Walter H. and Edith (Johnson) Weidemann on August 1, 1939.  She received her G.E.D. and received her certificate in Gerontology from the Montgomery County Community College. She went on to receive certification as a home health and nurse's aide and worked in many communities in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

Libby proudly flew a twin-engine airplane, and she was excited to ride in a pro stock car and generally, loved car racing. She loved sewing, gardening, and caring for dogs. Libby will be remembered by her red hair, flamboyant laugh and love of a party with family and friends.

She leaves her daughter Beth (Wilde) Dodge and her granddaughters Mikayla and Sonia of Pittsfield; her son Jim Wilde and wife Wendy of Ashfield and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her sisters Joan and Louisa and her son Edward Earl "Neddie" Wilde.

The family would like to thank the Hunt Nursing and Rehab Center and Care Dimension Hospice of Danvers, MA for their kind and loving support of Libby over the last six years.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Assisting with the arrangements is O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., Danvers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201 or a local hospice organization.
