EXETER, NH – Eric P. Spurr, 58, of Exeter, NH, formerly of Danvers, passed away on Thursday, April 24th, 2025.
Born and raised in Danvers, He was the son of Robert Spurr, Sr. and Leotia (Young) Demeule and her late husband Leo Demeule. Eric was educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School Class of 1984.
Eric's strong work ethic began at a young age. While in high school, he worked for Don Innis Gravel Pit in Danvers and continued his dedication to the company up until their closing. Eric then moved on to Local 4 as a heavy equipment operator, always maintaining that strong work ethic and dedication until the time of his passing, where he was employed with J. Dorenzo Co. A devoted father, Papa, son and brother, Eric was a compassionate soul who always put others before himself. He was truly happiest surrounded by his family, especially spending time and spoiling his granddaughter. He loved to laugh and coupled with his silly behavior he was always grateful when he was able to make others laugh. Eric found solace in nature whether camping with his family at the Exeter campgrounds or taking a long drive on country roads on his beloved Harley Davidson, always enjoying the comfort of family and the great outdoors. Eric will always be remembered for his kind nature, selfless spirit and can-do attitude and will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
