OREFIELD, PA – Francis Joseph Gangemi, 80, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Frank was born on March 12, 1944, in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Bernadette (Windt) Gangemi-Shauger. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Though he had a promising football career ahead of him, his sense of responsibility led him to forego a scholarship to Princeton to support his family during a challenging time. An avid car enthusiast, Frank's passion for classic vehicles, particularly his beloved 1964 and 1979 Corvettes, was unmatched. He often showcased his prized possessions at car shows, where he found joy in sharing stories with fellow enthusiasts.
With a heart as big as his smile, Frank cherished spending time with his family and indulging in a good Italian meal. For five wonderful decades, he shared a deep and loving bond with his wife, Barbara, creating countless precious memories together. Known for his sense of humor and infectious laughter, Frank brought warmth and joy to all who crossed his path.

Despite facing numerous health challenges over the years, Frank's resilience and spirited nature shone through, allowing him to persevere with determination and grace.
