Obituary

HOLLIS, NH – Mr. Frank C. Romito, 79, a longtime resident of Boxford, passed away peacefully on Saturday. August 27th, 2022 with family by his side.

Born in Springfield, MA, Frank was the son of the late Angelo and Jenny (DeMarco) Romito. He was raised and educated in Springfield, and later went on to enlist in the US Coast Guard. Frank was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where is received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

Frank was an experienced tax specialist, starting his professional career with the IRS as a revenue agent, moving on to become a tax manager with KPMG, before co-founding Romito, Tomasetti & Associates, P.C.. Frank was involved in all aspects of his accounting firm, but his primary focus was federal and state taxation. He was a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Frank loved spending time with his family. Always active, he loved running, exercise, and spending time on his boat, "Five Sons," with his late wife Millicent and five boys. When he was not on the water with his wife and kids, or in the ice rinks, football and baseball fields cheering on his sons, Frank could often be found in his basement workshop. A true artist in the shop, Frank would create fine woodwork that ranged from spectacular beds, chairs, and tables, to even two kayaks for Millicent and himself. Devoted to his faith, Frank was also a longtime communicant of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Topsfield.
