MARBLEHEAD - Genevieve "Genny" Rose Howe, 91, has left us to join her husband of 55 years, Mike, who predeceased her.  She passed away peacefully at The Lafayette Nursing Home with her son by her side.

Calling Marblehead home for 74 years, Genny was a social butterfly, always surrounded by a myriad of friends and activities.  She was an avid bingo, mah jongg, cribbage and poker player.  Genny was always "right there" for her family.  National Grand Bank was her place of employment for over twenty-five years.  She was also employed at Salem Hospital.

Genny was the daughter of Alexander and Anna Bucchio.  She is survived by her daughter, Deborah and her husband, Peter; her son, Robert and his wife, Catherine. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Tracy, Jessica, Kaylee, Jade and her fiancé, Adam; Adam and his fiancé, Tanya; Jason, Brandie, Brian and Lilly as well as many nieces and nephews. Genny's son, John and daughter, Nancy predeceased her.  She was sister to her late siblings: Emilio, Alexander, Evelyn and Barbara.

And, finally, as Genny always said "It is what it is."
