PEABODY - Mrs. Geraldine R. (Yoder) Heffner, 86, of Brooksby Village Peabody, formerly of Lexington, beloved wife of the late William J. Heffner, died Friday April 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Bethel, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel (Manbeck) Yoder. She was raised and educated in Robesonia, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Robesonia High School. Geraldine continued her education receiving her Nursing Degree from Reading Hospital School of Nursing in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Heffner had been employed as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years prior to her retirement. A caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Geraldine devoted her life to the care of others. She was a longtime member of Grace Chapel in Lexington and enjoyed singing in their Choir. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Surviving Geraldine are her daughters, Kristine Woodaman of Columbus, NC and Karen Latham and her husband Patrick of Tyngsboro, her grandchildren, Rebecca Woodaman and David Latham and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service which will be held in Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Rd., Lexington on Friday, May 4th at 10 A.M. A graveside service will be held in Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia, PA on June 2nd. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62) Danvers.
