SALEM – Mrs. Gina (Culot) Jaworski, 96, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Teddy A. Jaworski passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Brightview Assisted Living in Billerica surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Dombasle, France, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria (Cociancig) Culot. Gina was raised and educated in Gorizia, Italy and lived there until she met the love of her life Teddy, who was stationed in Italy as a Sergeant in the United States Army. After marrying in Italy in 1948, they relocated to Salem, MA.

Gina was a stay-at-home mom for many years. Her love of children and reading eventually led her to become a librarian's aide at Witchcraft Heights and Bates Schools in Salem. She continued on that path, working for 20 years at Bishop Fenwick High School. As the digital age dawned, Gina embraced it. She loved her work and most significantly the students.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gina's greatest joy was her family. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren and relished their many accomplishments. She loved reading, taking walks and especially travelling to her hometown of Gorizia every summer with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Gina is survived by her children, John Jaworski and his wife Sharon of Danvers, Teddy Jaworski and his wife Betty Gray of Westborough, Loretta McNeilly of Billerica, Dianne Shewcraft and her husband Ron of Pittsfield, Elizabeth Guleserian and her husband Gary of Burlington and Linda Debski and her husband Richard of Newark, DE and her 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother to the late Scott Debski, mother-in-law to the late Kenneth McNeilly and sister to the late Mario Culot.

ARRANGEMENTS: Gina's funeral service will be celebrated at the O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, at 12 noon. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
