DANVERS - Mrs. Gloria S. Bursey, 75, of Danvers, beloved wife of Eric Bursey, passed away on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her loving family by her side.

Born in Ipswich, and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Sabean) Wright.

Gloria touched the lives of many with her dedicated work ethic. She found fulfillment in her role as a home cleaning provider, dedicating herself to ensuring that the homes of others were always tidy and welcoming. Her commitment to her craft reflected the care and attention she brought to all aspects of her life. Many of her clients became dear friends and part of her extended family.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend; family was paramount in Gloria's life. Her focus was always on making sure she provided a warm and loving environment for her family to thrive in. She loved being involved in her children's lives, surrounded by them and involved in their many activities. Gloria was very proud of their many accomplishments. When the grandchildren came along, Gloria was over the moon. She couldn't wait to love, spoil and dote over them. There was never a question that you were loved when you were with Gloria. Her legacy of love for family, kindness and acceptance will be carried on by her family through many generations to come. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving Gloria, in addition to her husband Eric, is survived by her daughter, Tara Bursey and her husband, Brian Vardaro of Danvers, her sons, Derek Bursey and his wife, Erin of Lynn, Jeffrey Ham of Randolph and Stephen Ham of New Hampshire, her grandchildren, Jordan Bartlett, Nathan Vardaro, Ryan Bursey, Kyle Bursey, Brayden Bursey, Emma Bursey, Makayla Castro, Merrick Castro, Digna Castro and David Castro, her many siblings, several nieces and nephews and her best friend Stormy.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 at 3 P.M. Visiting hours prior to the service from 1 to 3 P.M.
