SALEM - Grace M. Post, 83 of Salem, formerly of Beverly, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Ash) Duerden. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School.

Grace had been employed by the Beverly Times as a typesetter for several years, where she was known for her attention to detail and strong work ethic.

A loving mother and grandmother, Grace was generous and kind and gave of herself every day to provide a warm and loving home for her family. She was very proud of her children and their many accomplishments and over the moon when her grandchildren came along. Grace was out going with a great sense of humor that was not wasted on her many friends with whom she played bingo and cards with regularly. She was well known at the Knights of Columbus and St. Anthony's Church bingos where she had many friends. She was an avid movie fan and enjoyed a good bag of popcorn. Grace will be fondly remembered for her genuine care for others, her generosity and quick smile and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving Grace are her children, Chris Post of Salem, Brendon Post of Salem and Amy Mars of Salem, MA, her grandchildren, Caylee Post, Brendon Desmond, Smantha Desmond, Randy Gaspar and Jessica Gaspar. She was also the grandmother of the late Michael Post.
