CHARLESTOWN – Ms. Gwendolyn Marie (Rogers) Ramos 71, of Charlestown, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at Massachusetts General Hospital Following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Pearl (Scott) Rogers. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Ms. Ramos had been employed in the food service industry for many years.

A long-time resident of the city of Salem, Gwen had resided in Charlestown for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends and was always the life of the party. She relished time spent playing cards with family and always enjoyed having fun. She was not one to hold her tongue and put you in your place, if need be, yet she had a sense of humor and loved to make you laugh. She relished time spent at Salem Willows at the annual family reunion. She loved to dance, listen to music, laugh and spend time with her family and friends. She overcame many obstacles in life and enjoyed her time as much as she could. Her memory will always be in our hearts.

Gwen is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ramos of Peabody, her son, Aaron Ramos of Charlestown, her grandchildren, Scott Julien Jr and his wife, Brianna of North Andover, Sophia Ramos and her husband, Juan Antonio Ramos of Peabody, Biance Burke and her husband, Daylon of Plaistow, NH and Aaron Junior Ramos of Everett, her siblings, Deborah LeBlanc of Beverly, Judith Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, Francis Mobray of Peabody, George Rogers of Salem and Gloria Broome of Michigan and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. As well as five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Heather Ramos, grandmother of the late Jazmine Julien and sister of the late Joanne Brame, Bettyann Saunders, Mildred Rogers, Stewy Rogers, Lenny Rogers and Ronald Rogers.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) SALEM, Saturday, Sept 14th at 11 A.M.
