DANVERS - Mrs. Helen (Wojtowicz) Krol, 96, of Lymen, Maine, formerly of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Michael Krol, died January 6, 2020. Born in Jaroslaw, Poland, Helen was the daughter of the late Jan and Katarzyna (Solecka) Wojtowicz of Poland. She along with her beloved husband and young son, immigrated to the United States following World War II arriving first in New York (Ellis Island), then settling in Massachusetts, Mrs. Krol began her professional career at the former Pequot Mills in Salem and had been associated with various other companies over the years and retired in 1986 from the former Hunt Memorial Hospital in Danvers. A longtime resident of the North Shore, Helen and her husband, Michael were long time parishioners of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Salem. She was profoundly devoted to her family and will be deeply missed.

Helen is survived by her beloved son, Bronislaw "Benny" Krol and his wife, Suzanne Plourde Krol of Salem and Lyman, Maine, her five grandchildren, Michael Krol, Jessica Krol, Jason Krol, Daniel Krol and Jonathan Krol, her 8 great grandchildren, her sister, Anna Cisowska of Poland; her sister-in-law, Mary Keenan of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Michael Krol and mother of the late John Krol.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers, Monday, January 13th at 9 A.M. followed by her funeral service in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bridge St., Salem at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Sunday, January 12th from 3 to 6 P.M.
