SARASOTA, FL - Henry N. Greene completed his life journey on June 6, 2023 at age 99. Henry was born May 9th, 1924. He is preceded by his loving wife Rene and eldest daughter Denise.

Henry grew up in Lawrence, MA and in 1942 joined the United States Navy during WWII. His Navy qualifications and certificates included Communications Officer, 1st. Lieutenant, Gunnery Officer and Supply Officer. Henry lived his life making choices based on them being the "right thing to do", he was truly one of the last few of the magnificent ones of the Greatest Generation. After the war ended Henry returned home, completed college and began his career in the transportation industry.

For many years Henry ran his own transportation consulting company and in 1972 founded Traffic Audit & Bureau Services, Inc. (TABS). He later turned the business over to his son, Reid. Henry never really "retired", he frequently traveled to Boston from Sarasota Florida to visit his office and beloved employees. His first question was always "how is your family?". Though the company is no longer in the family, TABS still operates successfully over 50 years later. Many of TABS long-term employees and friends of Henry continue to work for the company today.

Henry and his wife Rene loved each other dearly and loved their family. They both enjoyed traveling the world and most of all taking their family on trips. Henry enjoyed golf, his favorite sport. He loved telling jokes and always had a new one to share and old ones he shared over and over. Henry is survived by his daughter Lynnette, son Reid and his wife Donna, grandson Mark and his wife Serena, granddaughter Kelley and his two great grandchildren Kingston and Kiana. He was known to them as Pop or Poppy Greenie.

This incredible man will be most remembered by his kind and carrying soul, and true love for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
