James "Jamie" Brimicombe III

GLOUCESTER - Mr. James “Jamie” Brimicombe of Gloucester, husband of Danielle (Moore) Brimicombe, died August 11th, 2026 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a long valiant battle with cancer.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late James Brimicombe and Deborah (Obremski) Linskey of Salem. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.

Mr. Brimicombe was a talented craftsman and builder. He was known for his fine carpentry work. He took great pride in all of his construction projects and it showed through the level of detail each contained. He was the proprietor of his own building and remodeling company for many years.

A longtime resident of Peabody and Gloucester, Jamie was an avid golfer and was a passionate Boston and New England sports fan. If he wasn’t on the golf course, he was rooting on one of his favorite teams, the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. He also relished spending his time travelling to New Hampshire, where he spent time outdoors, snowmobiling and boating. A devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin; family truly meant the world to him. He was ultimately proud of all of his family and especially showered his love on his grandchildren. He never missed a dance recital or event that his grandchildren were a part of, they were the light of his life. He will be forever missed and always remembered.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Danielle (Moore) Brimicone of Gloucester, his daughter, Hannah Brimicombe of Gloucester, his mother, Deborah (Obremski) Linskey of Salem, his grandchildren, Leiani, Leilah, L’oreal, his step mother, Nancy Richardson and her husband, Gary of Gloucester, his siblings, Eric Brimicombe of Gloucester, Amy Brimicombe of Salem and Francis Linskey and his wife, Lindsay of Peabody, his nieces and nephews, Frankie, Codi and Gianna, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, including his devoted friends and neighbors, Mario and Maria Marnoto.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Jamie’s life which will be held at Capone’s Restaurant, 147 Summit St., Peabody, Saturday, August 29th from 3 to 7 P.M.
