DANVERS - Mrs. Janet S. Matson, age 105, of Danvers, formerly of Hampstead, NC and Perry, NY, beloved wife of the late William E. Matson, passed away on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.

Born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Lena (Musser) Smith.

Surviving Janet is her son, Russell Matson, and his wife, June of The Villages, FL, her daughter, Nancy Payne of Hartford, CT, her grandchildren, Charlotte, Meggan, and Andrew, her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, and Olivia.  Janet was predeceased by her son, Wayne "Todd" Matson and her granddaughter, Rachel Payne.
