DANVERS - Mr. Jason Hamilton Russell of Danvers, died Sunday, May 29th, 2011 at Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Danvers, he was the beloved son of Pauline (LaRoche) Crampsey and her husband Thomas of Danvers and Dennis Russell and his wife Judith Russell of Port Charlotte, FL. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers high School, class of 1989.
A long time member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Jason was a dedicated craftsman of his trade.
He had a true love of fishing and enjoyed playing darts. He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a passion for food and loved cooking and preparing meals for others.
In addition to his loving parents and step parents, Jason is survived by his sister, Alison Correnti of Danvers, his step sisters, Lynne Pointon of Port Charlotte, Fla, Melissa McDonald of Saugus and Terry Jane Sargent of Salisbury, his step brother, Timothy Crampsey of Salisbury and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and dear friends. ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte 62) Danvers, Thursday at 9:15 A.M. followed by his funeral Mass in St. Richard Parish, Danvers at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited,. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Jason's memory to Trauma and Burn Unit of Brigham and Women's Hospital, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA 02115.
