DANVERS – Mrs. Jean Elizabeth (Ramsdell) Perreault, 81 of Danvers, formerly of Salem, loving wife of the late Joseph F. Perreault passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her home in the comfort and care of her devoted family.
Born in Salem, Jean was the daughter of the late Ralph Ramsdell and Mary (Rennicks) Fiske. Raised and educated in Salem, she attended Salem High School where she graduated in 1958. As a young woman, Jean joined the Drum Corps and was an active member throughout her entire life drumming for Rockettes, Light Brigade and most recently the St. Kevin's Emerald Knights.
Jean was a dedicated professional with extensive administrator experience over her career primarily with Honeywell. She was also a UNICEF volunteer.
Jean loved to live life; being social, shopping and going out to eat. She was a big fan of the Royal Family and the Kennedy's and often thought she was the queen of her own life. In her youth, she remained active while playing tennis, figure skating and gardening. She was a member of CYO champion basketball team, high school baton squad, and a competitive precision figure skating team. In her later years; through her ailments, she continued to live her life with a younger mindset enjoying all things she treasured. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who lived her life, and loved it.
Jean is survived by her children, Tatiana Gavrilova and her partner, Paul Johns of Newmarket, NH and Sergei Perreault and his wife, Megan of Raymond, NH; her grandchildren, Viktor, David and Anastasia Perreault and Oliver and Xander Johns, her sister, Mary Gallant of Beverly; and half siblings, Donna Marie McBurney of Tampa, FL and Ralph Ramsdell and her beloved canine companion, Muffin. Jean was the mother of the late Jeanne Salvatore.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jean's funeral which will be held from O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Friday, April 22nd at 10 A.M., followed by her funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers at 11 A.M. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday, April 21st from 4 to 7 P.M.
