SALEM - Mrs. Jeanne B. (Barletta) Charnigo, 71 of Salem, beloved wife of the late Michael N. Charnigo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Francis and Ida T. (Barbieri) Barletta. Raised and educated in Arlington, she was a graduate of Arlington Catholic High School. Until the time of her retirement, Jeanne had worked as a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker. A resident of the City of Salem, Jeanne loved her home and welcomed her many friends. She was an amazing cook and took great pride in hosting parties and celebrations. Her Derby Parties were the highlight of the year. She loved to travel and even when traveling found the time to put together a party to celebrate with her many friends. She also traveled to Haiti with H3Missions, Inc. partners with the Haitian Ministry to bring much needed medical services to the Haitian people. She had a great heart, an infectious smile and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jeanne is survived by her brother, Richard Barletta and his wife Lynne, her niece, Jeaneen Barletta and Great Niece, Lucy Barletta, all from Arlington, and her Nephew the late Richard A. Barletta.
Jeanne is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marylee Knight and her husband, Clay of Griffin, GA, her brothers-in-law, David R Charnigo and his wife Jacquelin of Bluffton, SC, Craig P. Charnigo and Bryon Conley of Thomaston, GA. and several nieces and great nieces. Jeanne also leaves behind her beloved Dashshunds, Gracie and Trudy.
ARRANGEMENTS: At Jeanne's request, all services will be private. A Celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at a later date. Assisting with the arrangements is The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem.
