HARPSWELL, ME – Jeffrey L. Bills age 68, of Harpswell, ME formally of Tyngsboro, MA, passed away June 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 10, 1954 he was the son of Ralph and Eileen (McMahon) Bills. Jeffrey was the loving husband of Susan Bills, with whom he celebrated 7 years of marriage.

Jeffrey graduated from Worcester Academy and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in liberal arts. Jeffrey was employed through Amtrak for a majority of his life holding many titles throughout his career, retiring as superintendent for the Amtrak Acela Train.

Jeffrey loved adventuring and traveling with his wife, Sue. He treasured his time spent with his three daughters, step children, and grandchildren. He was a man of nature and loved being outdoors. Jeff enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing his guitar, and had a passion for sailing.

In addition to his beloved wife, Susan, Jeffrey is survived by his children; Rebecca Bills of Brookline, NH, Kathleen Bills of Hickory, NC, Christina Bills of San Diego, CA, step daughter Annie Signorelli and husband Elliott of Washington, D.C., and stepson Michael Callaway and wife Emily of Colorado. Jeffrey was a loving grandfather to his grandsons Casey McDermott and Landon Stebbins both of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by his sister Martha Bills and her partner John Rivers Bicknell of Shreveport, Louisiana.

ARRANEGEMENTS – In keeping with the wishes of Jeff, there will be no funeral services. His life will be celebrated by his family in private.
