MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, MA - John Raymond Krasnakevich, Ph.D., 78, passed peacefully on February 23, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. A resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, the son of the late Charles and Anna Krasnakevich, he is survived by his wife, Carmela, and daughters Victoria and Nichola, and Victoria's fiancé Charles. John also leaves his sister in-law and brother in-law JoAnne and Paul Devin and his nephews Christopher and Michael Devin.

John retired from Raytheon Company Integrated Defense Systems where he served as Principal Engineering Fellow and Technical Director of BMDS Radar Programs. He was very well respected by his colleagues at the Raytheon Company and by the National Defense community. John was selected as a recipient of the Missile Defense Agency's first-ever Technology Pioneer Award for innovative contributions to missile defense. During this time, he was the author of over 40 Technical Papers and Presentations.

Earlier John was the Founder and President of Kindler Associates Inc., a technology company. He began his career at Bell Laboratories as a Technical Staff-Specialist.
