PEABODY – Mr. John Joseph Wroblewski, 80 of Brooksby Village, Peabody, formerly of Danvers, beloved brother of Barbara Wroblewski, died peacefully, March 9th, 2025 at Rosewood Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Joseph John and Anna (Jakimczyk) Wroblewski. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem high School. He continued his education at Northeastern University earning his degree in Engineering, where he continues to have an impact with the John Wroblewski Scholarship.

An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1962 until 1966. He was proud of his service to his country and enjoyed the fellowship in later years of fellow veterans.

Mr. Wroblewski had been employed for 33 years with E G & G Incorporated. He worked his way up to become a Department Group Leader until the time of his retirement in 1998. He was well respected for his commitment to his work and his professional acumen.

An aviation enthusiast and holder of his private Pilot's license, John enjoy his hours spent captaining private aircraft. He enjoyed computers and computer science. He enjoyed physical fitness and was an avid runner and in later years walker. He even won the Brooksby Village Marathon on multiple occasions. A resident of Danvers, from 1967 until moving to Brooksby Village in 2003, where he has since resided and made many friends. He was a devoted brother to his best friend Barbara and will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his sister, Barbara Wroblewski of Peabody and several cousins and extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) DANVERS, Wednesday, March 12th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
