Mr. Jose Antonio Figueroa, 55, of Peabody, beloved companion of Maria Mandonca, died, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Olga (Baez) Figueroa and the late Antonio Figueroa. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1978.

Mr. Figueroa had been employed in the Entertainment Industry, conducting Security for many years.

Jose was dedicated to his family and enjoyed the company of his many friends. He was a member of the Church of God in Salem and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Jose in addition to his mother Olga and his companion Maria, are his three brothers; William, Luis and Jose Luis Figueroa, his seven sisters, Gladys Morales, Maribel Watts, Maria Hall, and Evelyn, Marilyn, Maria and Sonia Figueroa, many nieces and nephews, including Antonio Velez who he raised as his own son. He was also the brother of the late Gladys Figueroa.

Arrangements: His Funeral Service will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited.
