AMESBURY- Mr. Joseph Moscato 51, of Amesbury, died unexpectedly, March 19, 2012 at his home. Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Albert F., and Audrey A. (Murray) Moscato. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School. He continued his education at Plymouth State College. A dedicated father, Joe volunteered as a coach for many years in girls' softball, soccer and basketball. He took great enjoyment in watching his children grow into fine young adults. He was an avid sports fan who loved to golf. Always known for his outgoing nature which endeared him to many dear friends at the Polish Club of Amesbury and all over the North Shore and beyond. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Moscato had been employed for over twenty five years as a Sales Representative with Moynihan Lumber Company of Beverly. He was known for his dedication and commitment to providing the best quality service to his customers in the lumber industry. Joe is survived by his children, Kelly Moscato of Newton and Brittany Moscato and Macauley Moscato of Amesbury, his former wife Lynn Moscato of Amesbury, his sister, Audrey McKinnon and her husband William Jr. of Salem, his brothers, Albert Moscato and his wife Carolyn of Naples, Fl, and Stephen Moscato and his wife Christine Carroll-Moscato of Danvers, his nieces and nephews, William McKinnon III, Melissa Verhoosky, Timothy and Daniel Moscato, Stephanie and Anthony Moscato and Kaitlyn and Sarah Carroll and his grand niece and nephew, Molly and Will Verhoosky.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers, Saturday at 9:15 A.M. Followed by his funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial is private. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Joseph's name to The Jimmy Fund c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168 or to the Amesbury All Sports Booster Club, c/o Amesbury High School 5 Highland St., Amesbury, MA 01913.
