SALEM - Mr. Juan T. Pena 50, of Salem, beloved husband of Yoselin (Peralta) Pena, died unexpectedly, Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Salem Hospital following a medical incident. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, he was the son of Francisco and the late Ana Virginia Pacheco. He was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States at a young age moving to Salem. He was a graduate of Salem High School and continued his education at North Shore Community College. Mr. Pena was a professional Chef and worked for over 28 years at Henry's Market in Beverly cooking many of the delicious treats and meals people so enjoy. A loving husband, father, brother and uncle, Juan was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody. He was active in his children's life and was for many years a Youth Sports coach in both Salem Little League and Salem Youth Football. He was an avid athlete and enjoyed playing golf. He loved being surrounded by family and friends from playing pool or dominos, Juan had a constant smile that would light up every room he was in. His smile was contagious and his family and friends will always remember his friendly out going personality and his love for his family. Juan is survived by his loving wife, Yoselin (Peralta) Pena of Salem, his children, Juan N. Pena, Jossybell M. Pena, Jael T. Pena and Jayco J. Pena, his siblings, Anna Francisco, Alexandra Herrera, Analda Herrera, Francisco Pena, Maria Rodriguez, Ana Pena, Juan Jose Pena, Anthony Pena, Soraya Pena, Holly Pena and Alisha Pena and his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, Wednesday, March 13th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Visiting hours in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Tuesday, March 12th from 5 to 8 P.M.
