SALEM – Mr. Juan Peralta Sr., 86 of Salem, died Monday, July 24th, 2023 at Salem Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Valverde Mao, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Giuseppe Bianco and Antonia Peralta. He was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic. He immigrated to the United States and the North Shore in 1995. He was a resident of Lynn and for many years a resident of Salem.

Mr. Peralta was a successful entrepreneur. He was the proprietor of many retail stores and second-hand shops throughout the course of his working career.

A loving father and grandfather, Juan was devoted to his Christian faith. He had a passion for Dominos and baseball. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed singing and was the first to lead the sing-along. He was a devoted member of the Iglesia Evangelica Luz y Vida in Lynn. He loved his church family and all of the good they were able to do for others. Above all else, he will be remembered for his deep faith and his devotion to his family.

Juan is survived by his sons, Juan Peralta Jr and his wife Wendy of Salem, Sandro Peralta and his wife Araceli of Lynn and Eddy Peralta and his wife Rocio of Revere, his grandchildren, Juan Luis, John Michael, Giancarlo, Flor, Evelyn, Yihra, Annielou, Raymer, Dominique, Kylie and Haley, his brothers, Jose Garibaldi, Jose Elias and Raphael, his sister, Ines, and many nieces,  nephews and great grandkids.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals - Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM, Friday, July 28th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Thursday, July 27th from 4 to 7 P.M.
