DANVERS - Mrs. Judith Ann (Garchinsky) O'Keefe passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13th, 2023 at Brooksby Village in Peabody where she resided.

Judy was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on May 4th, 1941, and was the first child of Joseph Garchinsky and Mary Margarette (McLean). In 1975 Judy married her soul mate and loving husband John I." Jack" O'Keefe.

Judy was raised and educated in Woburn. She graduated from Bryant College majoring in business administration. After graduation Judy was the executive secretary for Mayor Jack Gillgun of Woburn Ma., moving on to the Container Corporation of America.

Judy had many friends over the years and she enjoyed socializing and traveling the world. She especially enjoyed traveling to Ireland with Jack by her side. Judy's favorite pastime was spending time with her family.  Judy never missed a holiday gathering and always wrote a touching thank you letter to her hosts expressing joy at seeing all those that she loved so much.

Judith is survived by her brothers; Joseph K. Garchinsky of Florida and Peter C. Garchinsky of Woburn, Massachusetts.  In addition to her beloved husband, Jack O'Keefe, she is preceded in death by her sister, Hellen Doris "Penny " Cullen.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) DANVERS on Saturday, October 28th from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M.
