SALEM - Karina Moreno, 42 of Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 in Cartersville, Georgia.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Jose and Milady (Quijada) Moreno, she was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Karina continued her education receiving her associate's degree from Northshore Community College, matriculated to Bunker Hill Community College and later to Endicott College where she received her master's degree in business administration.
Karina worked her entire career at Medtronic medical equipment manufacturer in Danvers for over 20 years. She began in an entry level position and through hard work and education worked her way through the ranks and had been promoted to Global Project Manager working with many companies throughout the world. Her professional acumen and commitment to excellence were evident in her work and she a made a lasting impact through her diligence and attention to detail.
Beyond her career, Karina was cherished for her sassy demeanor, kind heart, and innate generosity. She had a deep love for her family and friends, always making time to support and uplift those around her. Known for her impeccable sense of style, Karina's fashion-conscious spirit added a touch of elegance to every occasion. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Karina's life was marked by her passion for knowledge, her desire to broaden her horizons, and her exemplary work ethic. Karina's beautiful smile and vibrant personality endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. The lasting impact that Karina made on others will be carried on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Surviving Karina in addition to her loving parents, Jose and Milady Moreno, are her sister Hadee Benoit and her fiancé Jerry Vega of Salem her brother Jose Moreno Jr. and his wife Janelle of Gloucester, her nieces Kayla Benoit of Salem and Aryana Moreno of Gloucester and Cesar "CJ" Benoit of Austin, TX, her beloved dog baby Walter and several aunts, uncles and cousins. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass which will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Chestnut St., Peabody on Friday, October 18th at 10 A.M. Please meet directly at church. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. SALEM - Karina Moreno, de 42 años de Salem, falleció inesperadamente el domingo 6 de octubre de 2024 en Cartersville, Georgia.
Nacida en Salem, era hija de José y Milady (Quijada) Moreno, se crió y educó en Salem y se graduó de Salem High School. Karina continuó su educación recibiendo su título de asociado de Northshore Community College, se matriculó en Bunker Hill Community College y luego en Endicott College, donde recibió su maestría en administración de empresas.
Karina trabajó toda su carrera en el fabricante de equipos médicos Medtronic en Danvers durante más de 20 años.
