SALISBURY - Mrs. Kathleen (Pappas) Mahoney 63, of Salisbury, formerly of Peabody and Salem, beloved wife of 24 years of Sean Mahoney, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at Mass General Hospital following a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Frances (Salvo) Pappas. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Mrs. Mahoney began her professional career with the Parker Brothers Company in Salem. She matriculated to working at the former Chase House Restaurant in Salem and more recently she had been employed with Verizon as a Customer Service Representative until the progression of her illness. Kathleen was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. They were all great sources of joy in her life. She loved to travel and had a passion for games of chance and visiting casinos. Through the many years of her illness, Kathleen was courageous and steadfast in her fight. She loved life and those in her life and fought valiantly to enjoy each and every day. She was a blessing to all and will be deeply missed. Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Sean Mahoney of Salisbury, her sons, Christopher M. Beausoleil of Littleton and Mathew S. Beausoleil and his wife Mireille Vartanian of Littleton, her step daughters, Melissa Heaphy and her husband Steffan of Lynn, Jennifer Clement of Lebanon, NH, Kristin Mahoney of Lynn and Nicole Gregorio of Derry, NH, her five grandchildren, her siblings, Tony Salvo of TX, Stephen Pappas of Tewksbury, Janice Rogers of Ipswich, Sharon Pappas of N.H., Jeanne Pappas Bacigalupo of N.H., Joan (Pappas) Curran of N.H., Robert Pappas of Haverhill and Charles Pappas of S.C., her special niece Bridget Irving and her husband Nicholas of Groveland and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was the sister of the late Deborah Maneiro and Bruce Pappas.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Wednesday, Nov. 14th at 4:15 P.M. Relatives and friends invited.
