DANVERS - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Lynn Troy, who was born on September 7, 1963, in San Antonio, TX. She passed away after a long battle with kidney disease that she fought hard to overcome with strength, courage and resilience. Kelly faced every challenge with grace and determination, never allowing her illness to define her spirit.

Kelly is survived by her father, Charles (Tad) M. Troy II, her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Scott Caron, and her beloved nieces, Abigail and Audrey. She was predeceased by her mother, Gayle Lea Troy. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt who brought joy and kindness to those around her.

Kelly was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1981, and went on to attend New England College in Henniker, NH, where she earned a degree in Psychology in 1985.

Kelly had a deep love for the outdoors and found happiness in biking, kayaking, camping, and hiking. Whether exploring nature or enjoying a quiet moment under the open sky, she embraced every adventure with enthusiasm.

Kelly also had a passion for live music and cherished attending concerts, especially those shared with Pam and Scott. She was also a true "Deadhead" embracing all things Grateful Dead.

Kelly will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her kindness, curiosity and laughter will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew her.

In Kelly's words "I'm fighting to stay alive not because I fear death…but because I love life!!"

Rest in peace, Kelly. Your spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved you.
