BEVERLY – Kevin W. Salemme, 61, of Beverly passed away October 12th, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Photography is Kevin's gift to the world. His love for education and the Arts led him to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Art Institute of Boston, a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and Philosophy from Merrimack College and a Master of Liberal Arts in Studio Arts, Film, and Photography from Harvard University.

Kevin grew his career further, becoming a published author and illustrator. He exhibited extensively both locally and abroad. He mounted solo exhibitions in Switzerland at the Galerie Focale in Nyon and the Galerie Athenee 4 in Geneva. His work is held in corporate and private collection by Fidelity Investments, State Street Bank, as well as Fonds Cantonal de Decoration, Geneva, Switzerland.

Kevin taught photography at Merrimack College, where he was also the Director of Media Services for almost 40 years. Kevin will always be remembered for his unique outlook on life and being a great mentor to all his students

In addition to his loving wife of 27 years, Christelle Salemme, Kevin is survived by his brother John Salemme and his sister-in-law, Sherry Salemme as well as family here and in Switzerland.

ARRANGEMENTS: Everyone is invited to Kevin's services which will be held at the Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher in North Andover on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 from 10 - 11:50 A.M. and the memorial mass following at 12P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kevin W. Salemme '95 Memorial Scholarship Fund to support students at Merrimack College.
