DANVERS - Mrs. Laurien (Dion) Fitzgerald, 90 of Danvers, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late James J. Fitzgerald, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8th, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Mary (McCarthy) Dion. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mrs. Fitzgerald had been employed as a Supervisor in the Land Court Department at the Registry of Deeds in Salem for many years until the time of her retirement.

Surviving Laurien are her three children, David J. Fitzgerald of Ipswich, Mary F. Kane of Topsfield, and Ann M. Fitzgerald and her husband, Thomas M. Hogan of Ipswich, her grandchildren, Alexander F. Kane and Christopher T. Kane of Topsfield and several nieces and nephews.
