BOXFORD - Loretta Rosalie (Beaulieu) Rochenski, of Boxford, MA (97) beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories to all who knew her.
Loretta was blessed to live a long, full and simple life; giving generously of her time and treasure but never expecting anything in return. She delighted in being with family and friends and cherished the many gatherings and adventures she had with them. She will be remembered for her kind, loving and generous heart, perpetual cheerfulness, sense of humor, faith in God, and her ability to always see the glass half full. She often quoted the scripture “The Joy of the Lord is My Strength” knowing that it was God’s grace that sustained her throughout her life in times of both happiness and sadness.
She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts on 12/12/1928 to George and Blanche (Bouchard) Beaulieu, second youngest of five children all predeceased. On September 26, 1959, she wed Walter Adam Rochenski (predeceased) and together they shared 63 years of marriage where they made their home first in Beverly and then in Boxford.
Loretta is survived by her four children, Dianne Mary Rochenski and her husband John of NY, Jane Elizabeth Tarr and her husband Raymond “Dana” of NH, Nancy Jeanne Curtis and her husband, David of MA, and Thomas Walter Rochenski and his wife, Kate of MA; her grandchildren, Jennifer Beth Shafran of NY, Laura Elizabeth Tarr of NH, James Thomas Rochenski and Ryan Jordan Rochenski of MA, and her great grandchildren, Mason Shafran and Theodore (Teddy) Shafran of NY, and several nieces and nephews.
May Loretta’s beautiful soul rest in peace in God’s embrace and with those she loved who went before her. And may all of us, left behind, find comfort in our treasured memories and find inspiration in the way she lived: a long, full and simple life with God always at the center.
