BOXFORD - Mrs. Louise (Eldridge) McGregor, 89, a longtime resident of Boxford, passed away on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at her home in Boxford.
Born February 3rd, 1934 in Northampton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Hosmer and Jean (Peacock) Eldridge. Louise was raised in Topsfield and graduated from Topsfield High School in 1952, continuing her education thereafter at Bryant and Stratton Commercial School in Boston. Louise was a homemaker for her young family and later became involved in the sewing community working in sales and customer service.
Louise was the wife of the late Gardner Francis McGregor for more than 60 wonderful years. They were avid sports fans and especially enjoyed auto racing and the Red Sox. Gardner and Louise enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. in their camper. Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Louise is survived by her children, Roger Friend, Deborah Wan and her husband, Samuel, Nancy Eldred and her husband, Brad, Valerie Foster and her husband, Kevin, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held graveside in Pine Grove Cemetery, Haverhill Rd., Topsfield, Tuesday November 14th, at 11 A.M. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the O'Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS.
