SALEM - Mrs. Lucy M. (Pronska) Stevens passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of the late Genevieve (Protosen) and Gabriel Pronski.

Lucy was born on August 14, 1927 in Salem, MA and lived in Danvers, MA. She was married to James A. Stevens, who passed away in 2002, for 50 years. During her life, her family, music, and dancing were Lucy's greatest joys. She was an avid ballroom and square dancer, played the Hawaiian guitar, and was a formidable opponent in cribbage. She loved to laugh, and we will all miss her sense of humor.

Lucy is survived by her sister, Alice Wojciechowski of Peabody, MA, her 3 children, Debra L. Stevens of Salem, MA, James A. Stevens II and his wife Christine McCarthy Stevens of Topsham, ME, and Linda Stevens Sivak and her husband Joseph of Boxford, MA. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, James A. Stevens III and his wife Abby, and Steven, Jack, and Max Sivak, and by her loving nephew Tom Romagnoli and his wife Linda of Kingston, NH. She also leaves many friends and relatives among the Kangas and Shaw families of the Sutton, MA area, and a sister-in-law, Shirley Connelly of Topsfield, MA.

ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside memorial service celebrating Lucy's life will be held at a future date. The family encourages all who wish to remember and honor Lucy to spend some quality time with an older friend or relative. It will mean the world to them.
