SALEM – Mr. Luis Angel Gomez Pena, 52, of Salem, died unexpectedly, December 31 ^st , 2022 at Salem Hospital.

Born in Bani, Dominican Republic, he was the son of Miriam Pena and the late Belisario Gomez. He was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States in 2002, making Salem his forever home.

Mr. Pena was an outgoing and friendly man who had many friends and acquaintances throughout the city of Salem and the North Shore. He could often be found riding his bike throughout the city. He made friends easily and enjoyed talking to people. He was happiest when surrounded by those friends and family he so treasured. He will be deeply missed.

Luis is survived by his mother, Miriam Pena of Salem, his children, Ronald Leonaldy Gomez, Willy Gomez and Luis Angel Gomez, his granddaughter, Armani, his siblings, Luz Gomez, Librado Gomez and Belisario Gomez and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
