SALEM - Ms. Lynda M. Johnson, 69, of Salem passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Iver and Margaret (LeVasseur) Johnson. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. Lynda continued her education receiving her Associates Degree in Nursing from North Shore Community College.
Lynda embarked on a career in Nursing, first at Wood Memorial Hospital in Everett and later at Brentwood Nursing Home in Danvers, where she was known for her kind and caring nature and her dedication to her patients.
A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Lynda enjoyed sewing and was known as a critic for the Horror movie genre. She had an easy smile, an outgoing personality that endeared her to many. She was funny and loved to get others to laugh, her sense of humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving Lynda are her children; Rachel Mowbray and her husband Richard of Peabody, and Thomas Remon and his wife Ericka of Lynnfield, her three grandchildren; Elisha, Isabella, and Ava, her sisters; Margaret Femino of FL, Paula Murphy and her husband Peter of Ossipee, NH and her brother, Charles Johnson and his wife Mary of NH.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Tuesday, March 19th at 7 P.M.
