GROVELAND - Mrs. Lynne K. (Delp) Tassinari, 60, of Groveland, beloved wife of Richard F. Tassinari, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Clark) Delp. She immigrated to the United States at the age of four with her family and was raised and educated in Danvers. Lynne was a longtime resident of Danvers and worked as a teacher's aide in the Head Start Program of Peabody, as well as a waitress in the restaurant business for many years. She also managed the cafeteria at St. John's Prep in Danvers for over twenty years. She was a hard worker, a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a caring aunt, sister, and friend. Lynne had a good sense of humor and an extraordinary generous and independent spirit. Lynne is survived by her beloved husband of thirty four years, Richard Tassinari of Georgetown, her two daughters, Kelly A. Tassinari of Salem and Danielle F. Tassinari of Ossipee, NH. She was predeceased by her beloved son Todd E. Tassinari. She also leaves behind her three beautiful grandchildren, Tori Lynne McCormack, Jayden Francis Herlihy and Todd-David Delp Scripture of Ossipee, NH; her two foster grandchildren Daymien and Cedryk; her four sisters, Lola McAdoo of Rowley, Beverly Tully of Franklin, NH, Cheryl Legault of Groveland, and Wendy Stevens of Newburyport. She was predeceased by three brothers, Lloyd Delp, David Delp, and Ronald "Buck" Delp, and two sisters Marion Mae Delp and Pauline King. ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Calvary Episcopal Church, 46 Cherry St., Danvers, Thursday, January 19th, at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte 62) Danvers, Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lynne's memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
