DANVERS – M. Elizabeth "Betty" (Scott) Blake, 99 of Danvers, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

Born in Ipswich, MA on April 9th, 1923, Betty was the daughter of the late William and Miriam (Phillips) Scott and Isabelle Rhoades.

Betty was the beloved wife of Donald Blake whom preceded her in death.

Professionally, Betty was a Registered Nurse for Boston City Hospital for over 45 years. She was admired by many who worked with her and knew her.

She raised her family of 4 boys in Beverly. She leaves behind two sons, D. Scott Blake and his wife, Victoria and Dane G. Blake and his wife, Ellen of Danvers. She was predeceased by her two sons, Lance K. Blake and Randle D. Blake. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren of whom she loved very much.

She enjoyed retirement, loved bingo, crafting, quilting, shopping, dining with friends, reading and completing crossword puzzles.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Betty's funeral service which will be held in O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Friday, February 10th at 10 A.M. Burial in Linebrook Cemetery, Ipswich to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 4 Ocean St., Beverly, MA 01915.
