SALEM – Margaret Cameron passed away peacefully at Hathorne Hill in Danvers on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at the age of 91.

She was born September 5th, 1931 in Beverly, MA and was the daughter of Florindo and Leonarda (Muscarello) di Francescantonio and was one of 13 siblings.

Margaret earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and worked in the health care field her entire career.

She is survived by her son, James O'Connell of Utah, sister, Stella Moccia of Somerville; and 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cristine Van Dyke.

She loved genealogy, enjoyed long walks, cooking and baking and made the best lemon bars. Her greatest earthly pleasure was ball room dancing which she did at Wonderland, Revere, as well as other places. Margaret's greatest blessing in life was finding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was baptized on September 16, 1967 becoming a member of the Lynnfield Ward at that time. She was an active member of the Woman's Relief Society, and served as President for 3-1/2 years. She served as an Ordinance Worker at the Boston, MA Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 19 years.
