Obituary

DANVERS - Peggy 83, of Danvers was born in Stoneham, MA and graduated from Everett High School in 1959. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Marie and Kenneth C. Johnston of Everett, MA. She lived in Peabody, MA, raising her two daughters with their father, Christos Panagos. She moved to Danvers, MA to live with her sister. She worked at the former Chuck's Restaurant and Danvers Hardware.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Christine Panagos Jenkins and her husband, Michael of Carmel ME, her daughter, Laura Lostimolo and her husband, Phil of Georgetown MA, her sister, Linda Grasso and her husband, John of Danvers MA, her late brother, John C. Johnston and his wife, Marjorie of China ME, grandson, Christopher Lostimolo, granddaughter, Emma Cude, great-granddaughter, Sofia-Rose Lostimolo, her aunt, Margaret Hartnett of Everett MA, many cousins who knew her as 'Snookie', and many nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her nephew, John K. Grasso of Danvers MA and her niece, Cynthia Roberts of Hudson NH. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many people.

ARRANGMENTS:  Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service which will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett on Friday, July 12th at noon. Following the graveside service a Celebration of Peggy's life will be held at Supino's Restaurant, 250 Newbury St., Danvers at 2 P.M. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS. Peggy cared very much for Veterans and for Animals. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest, expressions of sympathy be made in Peggy's memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 331 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970 - online at northeastanimalshelter.org/ or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
