DANVERS - Marion C. (Rogers) Kiley, of Jensen Beach, FL and Danvers, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Ruth (Salomon) Rogers. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School.
Marion pursued a career in real estate, her ability to put clients at ease with her ready smile coupled with her determination and keen eye for detail led to her success as a real estate agent. She had been employed by Century 21 and Carlson Real Estate for many years.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mimi, memes, partner and friend, Marion had a zest for life that was evident in her love of hosting parties, especially Christmas in July, Yankee Swap and her famous themed parties. She split her time between Jensen Beach, FL, and her hometown of Danvers, MA, delighting in the warmth of Florida winters and summers in Massachusetts. In her free time, Marion had a passion for line dancing, motorcycles, and painting. Her vibrant personality shone through in her creativity, whether she was twirling around the dance floor on Friday nights or showcasing her artwork or latest craft to family and friends. Marion was a force and was often remembered as the woman with the pink and blue "cotton candy" hair. She knew what she wanted and was not afraid to go for it. She will be fondly remembered for her feisty spirit, her love for family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She will remain in their hearts forever. Surviving Marion is her daughter, Sherri Locke and her husband, John of Center Barnstead, NH, her son, Michael Kiley of Danvers, daughter in law, Mary Kiley of Belmont, her partner, Robert Prentice of Jensen Beach, FL, her grandchildren, Sara Karr and her husband, Derek of Littleton, Michael Kiley of Melrose, Jenica Holzschuh and her husband, Tyler of Menasha, WI, Shayla Locke of Center Barnstead, NH, her partner, Joseph Estes of Salem, NH, her great-grandchildren, Sam and Casper Holzschuh and baby Karr on the way, and her brother, Raymond Rogers of New York, NY. She was also the sister of the late Elizabeth Dragon.
ARRANGEMENTS: A private celebration of Marion's life will be held at a later date.
