PEABODY - Mrs. Mary Jean Servizio, 66, beloved wife of Michael P. Servizio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marilyn Jane (Mounteney) Bell. She was raised in Cooperstown, NY and was a graduate of Cooperstown High School. Jean continued her education at Endicott College and received her Associate of Science Degree in Legal Administrative & Secretarial Studies.
Jean began her career as a secretary in the insurance industry, and then transitioned to a Referral Coordinator at The Medical Group in Beverly for many years. She continued as a Sr. Referral Coordinator at Beth Isreal Lahey Health until her passing.
A loving wife, mother, nini, sister and friend, Jean was the rock of her family with a warm and loving soul, known for her dedication and strength. Her role as a mother and grandmother brought her the most joy. Jean was very proud of her daughters and their many accomplishments and took great pride in attending her grandchildren's sporting events and activities, cheering them on with unwavering support and love. Jean enjoyed car rides with her husband, gardening, crocheting, reading and decorating her home for the holidays. She was known for her calm and caring nature, her intelligence and most of all her big heart. Jean found great joy in spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She will be dearly missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Surviving Jean in addition to her husband Michael are her daughters, Jen Beurekjian and her husband Manoug of Beverly, Missy Sullivan and her husband Ean of Danvers, Kim Sanborn and her husband Brian of Groveland and Nikki Medeiros and her husband Marc of Middleton, her 9 grandchildren, Nick and Gianna Beurekjian, Rylee, Kaleigh & Lexie Sullivan, Ava Sanborn and Caden, Makenzie, and Jaxon Medeiros, her brothers, Michael Murphy of San Diego, CA, Mark Murphy of Cooperstown, NY and Matthew Murphy of Cherry Valley, NY and several nieces and nephews. She was also the twin sister of the late Marilyn Jane Wood.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations, Funerals, Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 at 10 A.M. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly. Visiting hours Wednesday, September 18th from 5 to 8 P.M.
