SALEM - Mr. Michael D. Ingham, 73 of Salem, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Friday, February 16th, 2024 with family and friends by his side.

Born in Lewiston, ME, he was the son of the late Clarence H. and Mabel (Haddad) Ingham. He was raised and educated in Lewiston, ME and graduated from Lewiston High School. Michael continued his education receiving several certificates.

Michael began his professional career as a sound engineer. His love for music led him to explore new horizons touring with several bands using his technical skills to enhance performances. Later Michael took that same creativity and skills and lent his talents to the telecommunications industry. Michael traveled the United States and the world installing telecommunications systems in hospitals and colleges. He was an expert in his field and was truly dedicated to his work.

A lifelong music enthusiast Michael enjoyed going to local venues and listening to live music. He was passionate about his beliefs and his dedication to his friends was unwavering. He enjoyed travelling and loved to cook and host friends at his home. Michael will be forever remembered for his generous spirit, his unbreakable bond with his son and will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

Surviving Michael is his son, David Ingham of Salem, his longtime companion, Janet Doucette-O'brien and his close circle of friends. He was also the brother of the late George Ingham.
