LYNNFIELD – Mrs. Mildred “Millie” (Puopolo) Blandino, 99 of Lynnfield and the loving wife of the late Vincent “Vinny” Blandino passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Seasons of Danvers.
Born in the North End of Boston, Massachusetts, “Millie” born Carmella was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose (DiCarlo) Puopolo. She was raised and educated in the North End and met her beloved life partner Vinny at a dance. Together they would share 71 years of marriage, a lifetime of laughter, memories and love.
A devoted homemaker, she was renowned for her spirit of hospitality. Often hosting gatherings that brought together her cherished friends, along with her dear sister and best friend, Margaret. Millie loved having family gatherings including Sunday dinners. She had an eye for style and detail, whether it was shopping for the perfect outfit or arranging floral bouquets from Vinnie’s Garden.
A loving wife and mother, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, Millie treasured every moment spent baking cookies, hosting sleepovers, and creating lasting memories with her family. Her enthusiasm for life was matched only by the love she poured into her family, who will forever celebrate her legacy of love.
She was the mother of 3 daughters: Deborah (Blandino) Rogan and her husband, Joseph of Lynnfield, MA, Cheryl Blandino of Lynnfield, MA, and Lauren (Blandino) Cote of Danvers, MA.
She was the loving grandmother of 5 including Nicole (Cote) Aldi and her husband, Mike, Joseph Cote, Daniel Cote, Jonathan Rogan and his wife, Pamela, and Elizabeth Rogan. She was also the loving great-grandmother of 3, Mila Aldi, Michael Aldi, and Viviana Aldi.
