EVERETT - Mr. Milton E. Muller, Sr., 87 of Middleton, formerly of Everett and Memphis and Knoxville, TN, beloved husband of the late Patricia "Patsy" (Hanneffant) Muller, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with his family by his side. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late George H. and Mary T. (Cox) Muller. Raised and educated in Memphis and Knoxville, he was a graduate of Knoxville High School, class of 1951. Upon Milton's graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served active duty during the Korean War Era. It was during his time in the military where he met the love of his life Patsy while stationed in Virginia and together they shared many years of blissful marriage. A hard and dedicated worker, Milton truly enjoyed a day full of labor. In his early years, he worked as an Iron Worker for Local 7 and as his wife and children established their home in Everett, he was soon employed by the City of Everett as an Electrician in their Electrical Department. In his retirement, Milton worked as a chauffeur for BostonCoach where his charisma and reliability had him requested by many highly respected regular customers.
A loving a devoted husband, father, papa, big papa, son and brother, Milton's greatest joy was his family. He along with his wife Patsy loved to provide a warm and loving home and were great hosts to their family and friends. Milton was the king of the grill and was famously known for his ah-so sauce chicken wings. An avid sports fan, Milton loved all the New England sports teams and was a proud and faithful fan of the Boston Red Sox. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Everett, the Everett Veterans Fire Association and the Give Kids the World Village Organization in Kissimmee, Florida. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, making people laugh and could be found at any Bingo hall on the North Shore.
Milton is survived by his children; Patty Anne Taylor of Titusville, FL, Milton E. Muller, Jr. of Clinton, Alisa Iula and her husband Valerio of Woburn, Ellen Trigilio and Robert of Middleton and Catherine "Kitty" Muller of Revere, his 10 grandchildren, Patty, Vanessa, Steven, Lindsay, Stephanie, Brian, Joseph, Kitty, Michael and Daniel, his 7 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Logan, Jaxson, Liam, Alaina, Mason and Owen and his sisters, Virginia Brimer, Jayne Kubas and Nancy Fox all of TN, he was the brother of the late George H. Muller, Jr. and father in law to Christopher Taylor of Peabody and Claudia Muller of Hudson.
ARRANGEMENTS: Milton's visiting hours will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Wednesday, November 20th from 4 to7 P.M., followed by his funeral service from 7 to 8 P.M. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden on Thursday, November 21st at 2 P.M. with a procession leaving from the funeral home at 1 P.M.
